You operate with local benchmarks. Your competitors of tomorrow are being born 10,000 km away.

TRANSFORMATION

Strategic Innovation in Copenhagen, Global Food & Beverage Leader

CHALLENGE

A global food and beverage leader wanted to broaden its strategic perspectives to strengthen its ability to steer categories undergoing rapid change. The challenge was to develop collective intelligence among senior leaders, embed a shared culture of innovation, and stimulate an “outside-in” mindset capable of transforming their value-creation practices.

Immersion designed

We designed a hybrid journey combining 6 online sessions and a 4-day Learning Expedition in Copenhagen, structured around 4 independent tracks. The expedition immersed participants in a renowned Nordic innovation ecosystem, through industrial site visits, meetings with startups, researchers and scientists, as well as collaborative workshops using design thinking. Collective reflection sessions enabled participants to challenge established models, strengthen team cohesion, and translate inspiration into actionable ideas.

Outcome

The program brought together 23 senior leaders (SVPs, VPs and Directors) and achieved a satisfaction score of 9.6/10. Participants left with a stronger innovation mindset, an enhanced ability to collaborate creatively, and practical tools to turn external inspiration into concrete business opportunities.

Global Performance in Barcelona, National Railway Group

CHALLENGE

Facing market liberalization and increased competition, a large national railway group undergoing major transformation wanted to accelerate the development of its high-potential managers. The challenge was to inspire them with innovative management practices and strengthen their ability to drive collective performance in an increasingly competitive environment.

Immersion designed

We designed a 4-day Learning Expedition in Barcelona for 60 managers from the parent company and its subsidiaries, structured around 3 thematic tracks: Alignment, Agility and Competitiveness. The program began with an opening evening in Spain’s oldest gallery, featuring a keynote by a high-level athlete. Over the following days, participants met with leading Barcelona-based organizations, across a total of 20 visits and exchanges. The program concluded with a collective capitalization session, during which each group prepared a restitution to share with their teams. We organised two complementary study trips to Copenhagen and Helsinki, bringing together 12 members of the executive committee. In Copenhagen, a four-day program combined site visits and meetings with experts, featuring leading organisations such as COWI, BLOXHUB, Rockwool and EFFEKT. Discussions covered low-carbon construction, circular economy models and smart city innovations, complemented by a visit to the Copenhill site and the city’s pioneering neighbourhoods. In Helsinki, a three-day trip provided an opportunity to explore trends in decarbonisation and the circular economy within Finland’s construction sector, through five round-table discussions with experts, a visit to a low-carbon neighbourhood and an outdoor team-building activity.

Outcome

100% of participants said they would recommend the program to a colleague. Beyond individual learnings, the experience strengthened connections across subsidiaries and opened new perspectives on the meaning of performance.

Exploring Decarbonization in Real Estate Management, European Leader in Building Services

CHALLENGE

The executive committee of a European leader in real estate and building services wanted to explore best practices in building decarbonization and innovation in occupant services. The objective was to accelerate its own strategic transformation and strengthen its ability to meet evolving client needs.

Immersion designed

We designed two complementary Learning Expeditions to Copenhagen and Helsinki for 12 executive committee members. In Copenhagen, a 4-day program combined field visits and expert meetings with leading organizations such as COWI, BLOXHUB, Rockwool and EFFEKT. Discussions covered low-carbon construction, circular economy models and smart city innovation, complemented by visits to Copenhill and pioneering urban districts. In Helsinki, a 3-day expedition explored decarbonization and circular economy trends in Finland’s building sector, through 5 expert roundtables, a visit to a low-carbon district and an outdoor team-building activity.

Outcome

The program achieved a satisfaction score of 8.6/10. Beyond collective inspiration, participants left with concrete and transferable insights into decarbonization strategies at the scale of both a city and an entire industry.

Frequently asked questions

YOUR QUESTIONS.

How much does a Learning Expedition cost?

The budget depends on the destination, duration and level of customization. Plan between €5,000 and €12,000 per participant for a 5-day expedition, all-inclusive (excluding flights). We provide a detailed quote after the initial diagnostic.

How many participants per expedition?

Between 8 and 20 participants, ideally. Beyond that, we split into sub-groups to maintain the quality of interactions. We have managed cohorts of 60 people with an adapted format.

What is the preparation timeline?

Minimum 8 weeks between validation and departure. For complex destinations (China, India), plan for 12 weeks. Diagnosis and design take 3 to 4 weeks.

Is this business tourism?

No. Zero tourist activities in our programs. Every minute is designed to maximize learning and strategic impact. Our participants work more intensively than in their day-to-day lives.

How do you measure impact?

We use a proprietary 4-dimension framework: strategic insights, decisions made, partnerships initiated, cultural changes observed. Measured at D+30, D+90 and D+180.

Do you offer shorter formats?

Yes. Our « Sprint Explorations » of 3 days are designed for the most constrained schedules. Intensive format, same quality standards, focused on a single challenge.
