Helsinki is one of Europe’s best-kept innovation secrets: a compact, hyper-connected city where world-class tech talent, bold startups and government digital leadership converge.
ECOSYSTEM
Finland consistently ranks #1 in digital competitiveness. Helsinki is home to a government that codes, an education system that produces top engineers, and a culture that values radical transparency and trust.
TECH-HUB
Rovio (Angry Birds), Supercell (Clash of Clans) and a thriving gaming cluster have made Helsinki a global reference for mobile and digital entertainment, and a model for product-led global scaling.
AVANT-GARDE
Finnish design principles, minimalism, functionality, user-centricity, are embedded in every product. Helsinki leads on circular economy, carbon-neutral urban design and cleantech with a uniquely Nordic pragmatism.
ECOLOGY
Slush, one of the world’s most influential startup conferences, was born in Helsinki. The city’s Startup Sauna, Maria01 campus and government-backed programs foster a fearless entrepreneurial culture.

Immersion designed
We designed a hybrid journey combining 6 online sessions and a 4-day Learning Expedition in Copenhagen, structured around 4 independent tracks. The expedition immersed participants in a renowned Nordic innovation ecosystem, through industrial site visits, meetings with startups, researchers and scientists, as well as collaborative workshops using design thinking. Collective reflection sessions enabled participants to challenge established models, strengthen team cohesion, and translate inspiration into actionable ideas.
↓
Outcome
The program brought together 23 senior leaders (SVPs, VPs and Directors) and achieved a satisfaction score of 9.6/10. Participants left with a stronger innovation mindset, an enhanced ability to collaborate creatively, and practical tools to turn external inspiration into concrete business opportunities.

Immersion designed
We designed a 4-day Learning Expedition in Barcelona for 60 managers from the parent company and its subsidiaries, structured around 3 thematic tracks: Alignment, Agility and Competitiveness. The program began with an opening evening in Spain’s oldest gallery, featuring a keynote by a high-level athlete. Over the following days, participants met with leading Barcelona-based organizations, across a total of 20 visits and exchanges. The program concluded with a collective capitalization session, during which each group prepared a restitution to share with their teams.
↓
Outcome
100% of participants said they would recommend the program to a colleague. Beyond individual learnings, the experience strengthened connections across subsidiaries and opened new perspectives on the meaning of performance.
Vinci
Challenge
The executive committee of a European leader in real estate and building services wanted to explore best practices in building decarbonization and innovation in occupant services. The objective was to accelerate its own strategic transformation and strengthen its ability to meet evolving client needs.
↓
Immersion designed
We designed two complementary Learning Expeditions to Copenhagen and Helsinki for 12 executive committee members. In Copenhagen, a 4-day program combined field visits and expert meetings with leading organizations such as COWI, BLOXHUB, Rockwool and EFFEKT. Discussions covered low-carbon construction, circular economy models and smart city innovation, complemented by visits to Copenhill and pioneering urban districts. In Helsinki, a 3-day expedition explored decarbonization and circular economy trends in Finland’s building sector, through 5 expert roundtables, a visit to a low-carbon district and an outdoor team-building activity.
↓
Outcome
The program achieved a satisfaction score of 8.6/10. Beyond collective inspiration, participants left with concrete and transferable insights into decarbonization strategies at the scale of both a city and an entire industry.
