Challenge

A leading player in mutual insurance in France for over 60 years, this group has worked with its managers to develop an ambitious management pact aimed at breaking away from a historically top-down, siloed culture. The challenge: to turn its 150 top managers into the true champions of this change, by exposing them to other leadership models to trigger new collective practices centred on cooperation, autonomy and collective intelligence.

immersion Designed

We designed a program of 10 one-day Learning Expeditions in Paris, spread over 12 months for 150 senior managers divided into groups of 12 to 15 people. The program was structured around three progressive themes: Cooperation and cross-functional collaboration, Empowerment and accountability, Collective intelligence and innovation. Each day took participants to meet two inspiring organisations from a variety of sectors, resulting in a total of over 20 organisations explored throughout the program. The afternoons alternated between methodological experimentation (OKRs, facilitation, collective intelligence) and group debriefing sessions to consolidate learning and prepare for implementation within their teams.

Outcome

The LEX sessions did not just inspire; they sparked action. Each day concluded with concrete action points, which were shared within the teams: visual management, the OKR method, alignment rituals, a feedback culture, and decision-making meetings.

Allianz Trade

Challenge

Against a backdrop of accelerating technological change, the executive committee of this international credit insurance provider sought to strengthen its shared vision for digital transformation. The aim was to foster collective intelligence at board level, align senior management around shared leadership values, and draw inspiration from leading tech organisations to shape their own transformation journey.

immersion Designed

We designed a three-day learning experience in Paris for six members of the executive committee, combining external immersion, personal development and team alignment. The program combined a one-day Learning Expedition to inspiring tech organisations, an HBTI personality assessment to better understand team dynamics, and one and a half days of executive coaching focused on confidence, collective intelligence and co-leadership practices. Together, these elements enabled us to bring together strategic inspiration, individual reflection and in-depth work on the functioning of the leadership team.

Outcome

The program enabled the executive committee to strengthen its alignment on issues relating to technological transformation and to consolidate its collective leadership practices. The executives emerged with a more shared vision of their role in the transformation, a better understanding of their team dynamics, and concrete ways to strengthen trust, cooperation and collective decision-making. The program received a satisfaction rating of 9 out of 10.

SPIE

Challenge

Faced with rapidly changing environmental expectations from its customers and stakeholders, this leading European multi-technical services provider sought to help its senior management understand the new sustainability challenges. The aim was to explore the impact of decarbonisation, energy regulations and the CSRD on its business model and operational strategies, in order to stay one step ahead on environmental transition issues.

immersion Designed

We designed a two-day Learning Expedition in Paris for nine members of executive committees from the group’s subsidiaries. The program brought together six high-level speakers to discuss key themes: energy regulations, digital transformation, industrial decarbonisation strategies, and the environmental expectations of public and private stakeholders. This immersion enabled participants to compare different levels of maturity in sustainability and to identify their clients’ emerging expectations.

Outcome

The program provided managers with practical guidance on how to integrate decarbonisation and sustainability considerations into their business and operational strategies. Discussions highlighted the need to continually strengthen the group’s expertise in these areas, in order to remain a leading authority for its clients. The program received a satisfaction rating of 8.4 out of 10.
