After spending one week in Bengaluru for TechSparks 2016<\/a> and meeting diverse\u00a0key players of the startup ecosystem two weeks ago, we’ll be back in India again for the NASSCOM Product Conclave<\/a> on 26-27th of October! \u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve been delighted during our last visit by the openness, \u00a0energy and enthusiasm of entrepreneurs, accelerators, mentors\u00a0or even corporates\u00a0to make the ecosystem grow and India stand out on the global tech scene.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Bengaluru has 4,000 active startups.<\/strong>\u00a0They have raised a total of over one billion dollars in the last two years<\/strong>, making the city the second largest tech hub in the world<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But 2016 has given a new turn in the ecosystem after the euphoria of 2015. \u00a0<\/span>Investors realised that startups aren\u2019t doing so well.<\/span><\/a> Very few of them have managed to build a really sustainable business model and solve Indian-specific problems<\/strong>. \u00a0\u201cWinter is coming<\/em>\u201d<\/strong> said Shailendra Singh from Sequoia Capital India at TechSparks 2016, but he highlighted that winter is also an opportunity to refocus on building products that really fit the market needs. <\/span><\/p>\n

The 2016 edition of the NASSCOM Product Conclave (NPC) focuses on \u201cNavigating Turbulent Times<\/strong>\u201d, bringing VCs, global leaders and young entrepreneurs together to discuss how to capture real opportunities.<\/p>\n

With 5 different summits around Design, Product Management, Fintech, Sales & Marketing and DeepTech, around 240 speakers and the showcase of more than 120 startups, the NASSCOM Product Conclave will help us understand better the challenges in building products for the Indian market<\/strong>, and the opportunities of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Drones and software products to solve real problems<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
