#2 in iOS downloads for a while, but just last quarter, <strong>it took the top spot<\/strong>, according to <a title=\"App Annie report China\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.appannie.com\/china-surpasses-united-states-ios-downloads\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App Annie&rsquo;s Market Index<\/a> for Q1 2015, thanks in particular to <strong><em>\u00ab\u00a0language learning apps like Duolingo and Babbel, brain training apps like Lumosity, and MOOC platforms like iTunes U and TED\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/strong>, said AppAnnie&rsquo;s rep on stage.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Broadband<\/strong> Internet users: 649 million users<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mobile Internet<\/strong> penetration: 555 million users<\/li>\n<li><strong>4G users:<\/strong> 162 million users (should be 250 million users by the end of 2015)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mobile Internet revenues<\/strong>: US$1.8 trillion (2014)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Apps usage for China in 2015<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2324 size-full\" average 14 apps used in last 7 days.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Main use of apps in China:<\/strong> video, payment, social media<\/li>\n<li><strong>App usage per day<\/strong>: 2 hours<\/li>\n<li><strong>Top o2o apps<\/strong>: 38% for leisure and entertainment, 37% for group buying, 34% for F&amp;B (restaurant booking), then, in a second category, 18% for traffic, 17% sports, 16% health, 9% travel, 5% beauty, 4% education and 2% real estate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Advertising stats for China in 2015<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter 0.88%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Average CTR on mobile<\/strong>: 2.67%<\/li>\n<li>Price of 1 fan\/follower on <strong>WeChat<\/strong> (including creative, management, everything): 5 to 50 yuan (US$0.8-$8)<\/li>\n<li>Price of impressions on <strong>WeChat<\/strong> (again, including everything from creative to management to media buy): 0.5 to 2 yuan, or 500-2000 CPM (US$80-320)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For every 1 rmb of advertising campaigns spent on mobile web, there&rsquo;s 5 rmb spent on mobile apps<\/p>\n<h2>E-commerce stats for China in
